Syrian Army Destroys Terrorists' Cars and Dens

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Units of the Armed Forces on Friday continued operations against the armed terrorist groups in several areas in Idleb in which they killed a large number of terrorists and destroyed their dens and equipment.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that an army unit eliminated several members of terrorist groups and wounded others after failed attempts by them to attack some of its checkpoints in the city of Jisr al-Shughour.

The source added that another army unit targeted gatherings for terrorists in the areas of Qastal al-Burj, Dweir al-Akrad and al-Surmaniyah in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughour, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

In Maaret al-Numan city and its countryside, an army unit targeted dens for terrorists in Kfarroumah, Hass and the city and killed a number of other terrorists who tried to attack military outposts in Heish, al-Hamdiyah and Wadi al-Deif and destroyed their vehicles and weapons.

SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that a unit of the Armed Forces carried out several special operations in Tal Salmo in Abu al-Dhuhour in the countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists and their equipment.

Meanwhile, an army unit chased terrorist groups in the farms on Binnesh-Sarmin road and the surrounding area and destroyed terrorists' gatherings in the town of M'artamsarin and Deir al-Waghb crossroad.

Terrorists Killed in Damascus Countryside

Army units pursued armed terrorist groups, killing and injuring numbers of terrorists in Jobar, al-Moaddamieh, Darayya and al-Rihan farms in Douma in Damascus countryside.

An official source told SANA that a unit of the armed forces clashed with a terrorist group near al-Barlaman roundabout in Jobar neighborhood, killing and injuring its members.

The terrorists Abdul-Rahman Amin and Ahmad Sharshar were identified among the dead.

The source added that two dens for terrorists were destroyed in al-Rihan farms in Douma with the weapons and ammunitions inside. All the terrorists inside the den were killed and injured, among them Bashir Taffour.

In Darayya, a unit of the armed forces destroyed 4 cars with the terrorists inside them in al-Jamiyyat neighborhood east of the city, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

The terrorists Amer Hussein was identified among the dead.

A unit of the armed forces also clashed with a terrorist group that terrorized the locals near al-Nazihion School in al-Moaddamieh, inflicting direct losses on it.

Army Units Eliminate Terrorists in Damascus Countryside

Units of the Armed Forces carried out operations against terrorists' dens in al-Zabadani, al-Nabik and al-Hajar al-Aswad in Damascus countryside, killing scores of them and destroying their equipment.

An official source told SANA that an Army unit killed and injured members of an armed terrorist group. Muhammad al-Ka'ka was identified among the dead.

The source added that another Army unit carried out an operation in the western mountains of al-Zabadani city, killing 3 terrorists. Ahmad al-Raksha was identified among the dead terrorists.

In the same context, another Army unit destroyed a car which was transporting terrorists on Yabroud –al-Nabik road.

Terrorists Killed in Homs

Units of the armed forces continued crackdown on terrorist groups in Homs neighborhoods, al-Qusayr countryside and al-Houla, killing and injuring numbers of them and confiscating their vehicles.

A military source told SANA that a unit of the armed forces destroyed dens for terrorists with the weapons and ammunitions inside in al-Houla area.

Three cars with the terrorists inside were destroyed in al-Maasoudieh village in al-Qusayr countryside, the source said, adding that a terrorist group that tried to enter the Dedeman Hotel in Palmyra was repelled, and its members were killed and injured.

The competent authorities killed terrorists on Wednesday night in Dedeman Hotel in Palmyra and killed numbers of terrorists who wrought havoc in the place.

Units of the armed forces pursued terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Khalidieh, Bab Hood, al-Qarabees and Joret El-Shayyah in Homs old city, destroying their dens and vehicles.

Units of the armed forces carried out a qualitative operation against terrorists' dens in al-Houla area in Homs countryside.

A military source told SANA that vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and rocket launch pads were destroyed in the operation.

Army Units Destroy Terrorists' Dens in Homs Countryside

A unit of the Armed Forces destroyed two terrorists' dens in Kafer Kalaa and Talduo areas in al-Houla in Homs countryside.

An official source in the province told SANA that an Army unit destroyed  a terrorists' warehouse  along with weapons and ammunition inside it, in addition to killing a number of terrorists.

Muhammad Ahmad al-Zoubi  who was the leader of the so-called "al-Tawhed Brigade" and Abdull Rahman al-Remahi who was responsible for training terrorists  to use rocket shells, in addition to  Ibrahim al-Bakhour were identified among the dead terrorists.

 Army units targeted armed terrorist groups, destroying its equipment in al-Bouyda in al-Kouser countryside, al-Ganto and  al-Sa'yn al-Aswad in Homs countryside, killing and injuring their members.

Another Army  unit continued pursuing terrorists in Bab Houd in Homs city, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to dismantling 6 explosive devices planted by terrorists inside citizens' homes.

In the same context, an explosive device went off while terrorists were preparing it in a warehouse in al-Midan neighborhood, killing of one of the terrorists and injuring others.

Non-Syrian Terrorists Killed in Homs

In the meantime, a unit of the Armed Forces carried out a special operation in which it killed a number of terrorists in Tal al-Shour area in the countryside of Homs.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that terrorists of non-Syrian nationalities, some of them are snipers, were identified among the dead.

Units of the Armed Forces on Thursday destroyed a number of cars, some equipped with machineguns, in the villages of al-Shindafiyah, Abo al-Dababir and Rahhoum in Homs countryside, said a military source.

All terrorists inside the cars were killed, the source noted.

It added that the army units also destroyed four cars, killing all terrorists inside it, in the countryside of al-Qseir city in the province.

Terrorist Infiltration Attempts from Lebanon to Talkalakh Foiled

An Armed Forces unit foiled several attempts by terrorist group to infiltrate the borders and enter Talkalakh countryside in Homs from Lebanon.

The terrorist groups tried to sneak through the areas of Hakerjnin, Kashlak, and Tallet Fraides in Lebanon, attempting to move towards al-Mathumeh, Uyoun al-Shaara and Aziz in Talkalakh countryside, while other terrorist groups attempted to attack border patrols in the aforementioned areas.

The Armed Forces repelled these attempts, injuring a number of terrorists and killing others including Zuhair Mustafa and a Lebanese terrorist.

Army Units Kill Members of "Jabhat al-Nusra" in Aleppo Countryside

A unit of the Armed Forces clashed with terrorists affiliated to "Jabhat al-Nusra" terrorist group in Khan Touman in Aleppo countryside, confiscating their weapons and ammunition.

An official source told SANA that the clash resulted in killing several terrorists and confiscating their weapons, which included 4 machineguns, R PG rounds and bullets.

The source added that another Army unit seized a car loaded with amounts of weapons and ammunition at the entrance of the town and killed the driver.

Terrorists Fire Mortar Rounds at Residential Areas in Aleppo

Terrorists attacked with mortar rounds the residential areas and worship places in al-Sulaimanieh neighborhood in Aleppo city, causing material damage but no casualties were reported.

An official source told SANA that a mortar round fell near the Syriac Orthodox Church and caused material damage in the place.

The source added that another mortar shell slammed into al-Maarri school in al-Sulaimanieh and caused material damage to it.

Army Units Carry out Operations against Terrorists in Aleppo and its Countryside

Units of the Armed Forces carried out operations against terrorists' gatherings and hideouts in Aleppo and its countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

An official source in the province told SANA reporter that that Army units carried out a number of special operations,  destroying terrorists hideouts in Mingh, Khan Toman, Byanoun, Huribl, al-Mnsoura and Hretan, killing and injuring scores of terroists, in addition to destroying their vehicles.

In Aleppo city, an Army unit eliminated scores of terrorists in al-Shiekh Said, Hanano, Agyor and Bustan al-Kaser and clashed with an armed terrorist group in al-Ashrafia area, killing most of its members.

The source added that the Army units continued pursuing terrorists in the Old City with great caution to preserve the archeological history of the area.

In the same context,  an official source denied any existence of any missile battalions in al-Rasheden area,refuting the false news broadcast by some  channels  which said that armed terrorist groups entered the assumed battalion.

Terrorists Killed in Clashes over Dividing Loot in Aleppo Countryside

Terrorists were killed and others injured when clashes broke out between two terrorist groups following a dispute over looted objects in Kafar Hamra in Aleppo countryside.

An official source told SANA that the clashes, which dragged for hours, came after a dispute erupted between two terrorist groups over dividing loot.

The first group was led by Ahmad Afash, while the second by Khaled al-Hayyani, the source said.

Mahmoud Afash, Ahmad's brother, was identified among the killed terrorists, the source added.

Jabhat al-Nusra Terrorists Suffer Heavy Losses in Hasaka Countryside

Units of the armed forces targeted gatherings of terrorists in Om al-Kheir village near Ras El-Ein in al-Hasaka, killing numbers of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.

The army units also seized weapons that the terrorists were using in their attacks, including a 23 mm machinegun, 4 DShK machineguns and 2 sniper rifles.

Units of the armed forces also carried out a qualitative operation against Jabhat al-Nusra-linked groups in Tall Barrak area in Hasaka and killed most of their members and seized their weapons.

The source said that security and stability were restored to the area.

The confiscated weapons also included RPG rounds, various machineguns and sniper rifles.

Drug-Trafficking Gang Arrested in Deir Ezzor

The competent authorities arrested a group involved in selling drugs in al-Joura neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.

An official source told SANA that sums of money valued at nearly SYP 1.5 million were seized from the gang that was selling drugs at the neighborhood which has been recently scene to vandalism acts.

The gang's members are Dalo al-Hmadi, Safwan Mohammad Haj Hussein, Bashar Mohammad Zaker Khalifa, Ibrahim Mostafa al-Okla and Mohammad Mostafa al-Okla.

An official source told SANA that another army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Jbeileh in Deir Ezzor city.

The source said that heavy losses were inflicted upon the terrorists, adding that most of the group's members were killed, including their leader, terrorist Samer Antar al-Muhaisen.

Tanker Loaded with Weapons, Some Are Israeli, Seized in Damascus Countryside

In another context, the authorities on Thursday seized a tanker loaded with weapons and ammunition in al-Sayyeda Zainab area in Damascus countryside.

The weapons, which were bound to Sbeineh area, included Israeli-made anti-tank missiles (lau), ammunition boxes, satellite broadcast and communication devices, armors and medical kits.
